| WELCOME The Women's Club of Pembroke is a Club that offers support as well as fun & enriching groups and activities for Women, Children and their Families in Pembroke and the surrounding towns. The only requirement to join is that you are a Women! You do not need to be married or have children to be a member of our Club, you can work full time, part time or not at all ... we have something for everyone and hope you will join us! There are age specific Play Groupsas well as Book Clubs, Game Clubs, Athletic Clubs, Social Clubs, Knitting Groups, Child, Infant & Family Groups, as well as Helpful Club Resources such as recommendations and Recipes. We also have a "Sunshine Network Committee" where our members will cook Meals or provide helpful services to local families or Members who have had a tragedy, Serious Illness, New Born Baby or just require a little Sunshine for one reason or another. We have a Food Drive Committee a Fund raising Committee and a Community Service Group as well. We also have a Birthday WishesParty Coordinator who puts together birthday parties every month for any little boys or girls who live at the Carolina Hill Shelter in Marshfield who have a birthday that month. Members can help by volunteering their time helping out at the shelter during the party or donating a birthday gift, birthday cake, paper goods, juice box's, a craft, game or activity etc.. Few of our events may at times require a Fee or a minimum amount of members in order to hold the event. In addition to our regular activities, we also have Club Meetings once a month.
During these meetings we discuss any issues related to the group and sometimes have a fun workshop or GUEST SPEAKER. Guest speakers are people in our community that have been invited to speak to our group about topics that are of interest to our members. The Women's Club of Pembroke is run through an on-line community where all discussions, Calendar Event's and RSVP's are available. To be part of the Women's Club, you should have regular access to the Internet. Membership Dues is $30.00/yr. & can be waived in the event of a hardship.
